WHAT IS THE ART OF PRACTICE?

The Art of Practice began with a simple observation: the most meaningful learning rarely happens all at once.

It unfolds through repetition, experimentation, attention, and time.

While yoga serves as a foundation for much of my work, the larger conversation explores how we learn, how we refine our understanding, and how we continue growing long after we think we've mastered something.

WHY DO YOU TEACH?

Because I am endlessly fascinated by the process of learning.

Teaching creates a space where ideas can be explored, tested, questioned, and experienced directly. Whether through movement, breathwork, discussion, or observation, my goal is not to provide answers but to create opportunities for deeper understanding.

WHO IS THIS WORK FOR?

For people who enjoy asking questions.

Some arrive through yoga. Others through photography, travel, education, or simple curiosity. What tends to connect them is a desire to engage more thoughtfully with their practice, their learning, and the world around them.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A PRIVATE SESSION?

Every session is different.

Some focus on movement and technique. Others explore breathwork, meditation, teaching skills, or specific questions that have emerged within someone's practice. The process is collaborative and shaped by what feels most useful to you.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?

Photography has taught me many of the same lessons as yoga.

Patience. Observation. Presence.

Both ask us to look more carefully. Both reveal details that are easy to miss when we move too quickly. My work behind the camera is ultimately an extension of the same curiosity that informs my teaching.

WHAT MAKES YOUR APPROACH DIFFERENT?

I am interested in helping people become better observers.

Of movement.

Of thought.

Of habit.

Of the assumptions they carry about themselves and the world.

Because often the most significant shifts begin not with doing more, but with seeing more clearly.
